Antidiarrheal property
– castor oil feeding induced
– After 7 days of test drug treatment — overnight fasting (only distilled water)
For feasibility put the rat on fifth day test for standard- udupi lab did
– Next day all griup 1ml/100gm body weight
Assessment,
– Onset of diarrhea
– Frequency of diarrhea
– Faecal weight of initial diarrhea
– 24 hour observation – 6 hr (can be) dry and faecal wet of the rat
For rat preventing from eating the deposited cage system is used as
